Meet Passoni owner: B.L

When did your journey into cycling begin ?

My journey into cycling began long before I ever thought of it as cycling. Early exposure to sneakers, streetwear, and skateboard culture naturally led me toward fixed-gear riding. What stayed with me was a broader curiosity for mechanics, movement, and anything defined by wheels. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a deeper appreciation for design, engineering, and craftsmanship.

How did you first come across Passoni ?

Italy has a long tradition of producing icons across design, engineering, and culture, all grounded in a deep culture of craftsmanship. Each expression of this heritage reflects a different interpretation of excellence. Further north, in a quieter context, there is Passoni Titanio Atelier, where titanium is not simply produced, but shaped through a precise and considered approach.

What made you choose Passoni ?

My first encounter with Passoni came through a shared appreciation for detail and process. It was less a discovery and more a recognition of a shared approach to making things..

What was your inspiration behind the design of the bike ?

In the process of designing the bike, I looked at how makers approach their work: the importance of restraint, the way each detail serves a purpose, and the balance between form and function. The goal was not to add complexity, but to refine what is essential..

What does your Passoni represent to you ?

In the end, the bike represents a continuous relationship between rider and machine. A focus on movement, precision, and simplicity. For me, riding is not about statement,  it is about consistency and intention.
