A passion for stunning frames is central to Passoni. Yet it is the uncompromising engineering and manufacturing quality behind our bikes that truly sets Passoni apart. All of our frames are produced in the Passoni atelier in Milan by our own team of framebuilders, and benefit from decades of experience in titanium, steel, and carbon frame production. Operating the entire process from design to finishing, Passoni represents one of the last examples of true European-based bicycle manufacture. In titanium, where we enjoy a worldwide reputation for excellence; we build frames entirely in Milan from triple-butted Grade 5 (6Al/4V) and Grade 9 (3Al/2.5V) tubing. We apply an obsessive attention to detail to our frames, which includes spending 30 hours on finishing and polishing. 

Our titanium frames boast signature classic aesthetics along with the latest innovations in framebuilding engineering. The enormous 48mm bi-ovalised downtube on the Passoni Titanio, for instance, offers supreme rigidity, light weight, and comfort. We employ similarly oversized yet understated tubing at the 56mm conical headtube. Our frames are welded in a pressurised chamber using Passoni’s closely-guarded mixture of gases, and no element of production is spared from close scrutiny. Beyond titanium, no bike showcases our industry-leading material innovation more than the carbo-titanium Passoni Fidia. Integrating titanium filaments into the frame’s carbon-fibre weave, the Fidia exploits the best features of both carbon fibre and titanium.

Carbo-titanium sits at the pinnacle of automotive engineering, originally developed for use in the Pagani Huayra Roadster. The material has only ever been open to very select partners, of which Passoni is the only bicycle brand.
