Possessing a ride and silhouette that are unmistakably Passoni, the Nova Gravel’s extensively worked Columbus Spirit tubeset is shaped to form the bicycle’s distinctive drop-profiled downtube. Ensuring the frame resists any twisting forces applied to it, this is paired to a 31.7mm bi-oval seat tube and matching diameter top tube. Steered from the front via a tapered headtube, this includes unique CNC machined stainless steel bearing cups that support 1”⅛ upper and 1”½ lower bearings. The rear triangle uses S-bend Columbus Spirit chainstays, to increase tyre clearance to a comfortable 38mm, while preserving the carefully tuned geometry of Passoni’s road-based Nova. Resulting in a bike with the purposeful handling and quick response needed to enliven any ride, its smaller details are also given an uncommon degree of attention.

Indelibly matching the Nova Gravel to its owner, both frame and fork can be custom painted in any of the colours in the Passoni Palette. Extending to componentry including the stem and handlebars, the result is a ready to ride bicycle that’s still uniquely tailored to the desires of its creator.

Mixing stiffness and comfort, we use super strong Columbus Spirit steel to construct the Nova Gravel’s inimitable frame. Welded with TIG and silver-brass fill brazing, its design exemplifies many of the features pioneered by our Milanese frame builders. Aimed at those wanting to experience the ride of the finest steel tubing as assembled by Passoni’s master craftspeople, each bike benefits from their decades of accumulated skill. Emphasising both speed and versatility, with subtle adaptations to wider tyre clearance and stable off-road geometry, the result is a versatile racer at ease when the tarmac ends and the trail begins.
